July 3, 2013 – My parents, Lee F Caldwell and Dorothy P Caldwell were laid to rest today in the pasture of Llenroc Farm. Their ashes were combined and they are together again.
We all helped dig the hole in the stony soil, and then Bob led the service where we all had a chance to relate our feelings about Gramma Dorothy.
An extra-long extension cord allowed us to bring Mom’s favorite organ down into the pasture for a little music.

I watched the video again and it brought me right back to that gorgeous blue sky day. What a perfect setting by that big solid rock. I know Gramma Dorothy would have loved it. And how can we forget shooting Uncle Bob out of the potato gun! That big pop and magnificent plume! It made me laugh like he always did. I pictured that big smile and I know he would have been laughing with us. Thanks for putting this all here Steve. I love my big family.

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful life here and to her new life as God’s sister! I’m sure she enjoyed every minute of it as she does still.
Terrific website, Steve. Thank You!!!
